Highly recommend Hairem salon,, Vicky and her team are the best! I've been their... customer for the last year and I have no intention to look for another hairdresser ever - love the precision in cutting or colouring, love the creativity, love the styling, advise... In short, only people who love what they are doing can give you that glow and magic of a new haircut/hairdo etc. I am a very happy customer.read more

My partner Amani called this salon on Tuesday after reading reviews and seeing some... photos of previous work online. She called and spoke to a woman named Cassandra my partner was happy with Cassandra’s confidence, 15 years experience and enthusiasm which is why Amani agreed to see her. Upon arrival they discussed a particular style Amani wanted to achieve, showing her a picture she’d liked and emphasised that she wanted the front to remain long to achieve a nicer “bob” Cassandra assured her it was achievable and that she would recreate the style for her.Unfortunately Cassandra did not deliver the promised style and instead my partner left the salon with her self esteem shattered and her feelings destroyed. She has been unable to sleep or interact with friends and family because she is so disheartened by what was said and done to her. She is too embarrassed to go to her local cafe and grab a coffee in the mornings and compares her look to Sharon from Kath and Kim.How dare you ask her questions knowing you may not be pleased with the answers and furthermore how dare you let your opinions impact the delivery and outcome of a paid service. You should NEVER discuss politics, religion, and your views on gays to a customer let alone to a first time customer. It disgusts me that people can destroy someone both physically and emotionally and think it is okay. My partner is a beautiful person inside and out and does not go out of her way to hurt others so it upsets me to see people like Cassandra do that to her.I was at work the following day and had my brother go in with her, Cassandra made every excuse under the sun as to why it had happened - she even complained that amanis hair colour was different from the picture. They made a later appointment to speak to Vicky the salon owner and mother. She admitted her daughters mistakes and was apologetic but went on to make further excuses for her, one being that Cassandra had a car accident earlier and she wasn’t feeling well and that’s why Amani left the way she did....... I’m sorry Vicky but why was your daughter at work that day if she was still recovering?Thank you Cassandra and Vicky for destroying my girlfriend like that.read more

Lack of professionalism or experience is clearly apparent at this hair salon. The owners... daughter who hacked away at my hair and drenched it with detangler (my hair was not tangled to start with) I left the salon with long and short bits and if I’m being honest I came in with a more presentable cut than I did leaving the salon. And asking me about my religious belief just so you can voice your opinion is disgusting in itself. Will not be returning to this hair salon. And most definitely do not recommend.read more

Amazing service. Amazing professionalism!You are treated like a Queen the moment you... walk in! Don’t bother being on a diet as you never walk out without eating fresh home baked cake and coffee. The best salon in Sydney by far!read more

I had my hair styled here for my engagement party and I had so many compliments about how... nice it was. Thank you for styling my hair, I am certainly returning in the future.Edit Jan 2020 - Went back to get my hair permed after having a consultation with Vicky. OMG I'm in love with my perm, Vicky has done an amazing job and knew exactly what was needed for my hair to hold the curls as my hair is past halfway down my back. Whilst I was there I was offered drinks and delicious cake, it was a great experience as always and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hairem Hairdressing. Thanks again ladies.read more
